Ms. Gully has been a speech pathologist for 21 years and has worked in a variety of settings including sub acute, acute rehab, inpatient medically acute, SNF, day treatment, transitional living center and home and community rehab. Her primary area of interest and expertise is in the area of traumatic brain injury with special emphasis on functional treatment techniques for TBI.
During her 21 years of experience as a speech pathologist she has had the privilege of working with a wide variety of individuals with brain injury ranging from coma to mild traumatic brain injury. Her favorite types of clients to work with are the very low functioning, non-verbal, frequently trach and g-tube dependent and the high functioning mild traumatic brain injury individuals. She has presented numerous times on a wide variety of topics related to TBI including family education, introduction to TBI, augmentative communication, decannulation and therapy techniques.
