About the Group

One of Montana’s Pioneer Brain Injury Support Groups, the Billings Brain Injury Support Group was first established by Scotty & TY McCleod a few decades ago.  This vibrant group is now affiliated with Optimists Club International as it continues to offer TBI Thrivers and their family members living in or near the Billings area a place to give and receive peer support in confidence every third Tuesday of the Month.  Special Programs, a wide variety of quality Speakers and TBI Information Updates are presented to members in addition to numerous social gatherings and recreational activities throughout the year. All are welcome!

What's Going On?

The Billings Brain Injury Support Group wishes to extend special thanks to Ron & Kathy Santi of Billings, Montana and St. Mary Land & Exploration for their generous support of our efforts.  Projects such as Koncerts for Kidz would not be possible but for the enormous support we continue to receive from our local community, including the many volunteers who contribute time and talent.  We are also recipients of a brain injury support group mini-grant provided by Montana’s TBI Partnership Implementation Grant, and encourage active use of the empowering term TBI Thriver when referring to a person with TBI Disability that is still contributing towards making this a better world for all.
